VV Puram: My Podi Rice Experience at Prakash Dose Camp

Hidden in the busy streets of Bangalore is a special place for people who love food – Prakash Dose Camp. Among the delicious smells in the air, it’s a special place. When we entered this great place to eat, we began a delicious journey that excited our taste buds. It left a strong impression on our mouths.

Exploring VV Puram’s Food Scene: Our Podi Rice Experience at Prakash Dose Camp

We went to VV Puram and found Prakash Dosa Camp, a famous place for dosa lovers. They are well-known for their special Nagarpete-style powdered rice and powdered masala dosa. This restaurant has been popular for the last two years. It attracts both locals and tourists.

Our food journey started with trying their famous Podi Rice, a tasty mix of Chitranna and bold Podi flavors. They prepared it with great attention to detail, roasting the Chitranna base expertly on a cart. The amazing smells filled the air. They added plenty of Podi, a bit of ghee, and there it was – a delicious masterpiece.

Adding Chutney to Podi Rice Enhances the Flavor

With the Podi Rice, they served two delicious chutneys – a tangy tomato one and a creamy coconut one. Both added a mix of flavors that matched the Podi Rice. The Chitranna had a tangy touch, flavored with lime and decorated with mango nuts. It made the dish even more delicious.

The taste was amazing – a perfect mix of tangy, salty, and just pure goodness that made us want more. Even though it tasted so good, it only cost 60 rupees. It was an affordable treat that we couldn’t resist. we enjoyed every bit of it.

If you want to try Prakash Dosa Camp’s famous powdered rice, make sure to visit after 4:30 PM because that’s when they serve it. Yet, they’re open from 7:30 AM to 12 PM, so you still have plenty of time to enjoy their delicious food.
